Born into a family with only the healthiest bit of dysfunction, I was the silent observer. Beginning with our earliest home videos, I was always the naked baby running around the backyard, picking flowers and making mud. Nature became my sanctuary as the years passed, as I felt my fair share of family issues and physical challenges. I thankfully have found my voice, as well as my artistic knacks, and now love to be more than just a silent observer; I question, challenge, and explore my surroundings.
As I look toward the future, with all of its ominous social, environmental, and economic clouds looming ahead, I know now, more than ever, how important it will be to embrace the beauty in everyday life. I hope to share this beauty with others, whether it be through photography, documentaries, or simply taking them on a barefooted adventure along the breathtaking cliffed beaches at Crystal Cove.
